Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ski Flying. DESCRIPTION: The world Ski Jumping Championships held at Oberstdorf, West Germany. The new World Champion, Hans Aschenbach of East Germany. SHOTLIST: GV teams marching across ski slope in snow storm in Oberstdorf. CU ditto. 3 shots teams from various countries lined up. SV new World Champion Hans Ashcenbach from East Germany with garland round his neck. GV from top of ski slope as a skier descends pan up to GV massed crowds watching. CU pan as skier starts to fall and lose his balance, he crashes. LV zoom in another skier down slope. SV pan slow motion as skier flies through air and lands safely. GV skiers coming up cable chairs. LV massed crowds watching. GV another skier down slope at speed. SV skier in air with legs open but lands safely. SV crowds watching. SCU pan another skier flying through air he starts to lose his balance & crashes down on slope. SV pan skier through air and makes perfect landing (could be winner). SV crowd applauding. SV new world champion with the runners up.
