MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tunnel of Fire. DESCRIPTION: Unknown hell-rider achieves a new world record on the IOW, by riding a motor cycle through an 80ft tunnel of fire. SHOTLIST: LV through tunnel, women & kids putting finishing touches to far end of tunnel. SLV ditto, pan to SV kids finishing off side of tunnel. CU girl packing straw round side of tunnel. LV through tunnel group of people standing at far end. SV three motor-cyclists start slowly away. SV four men, one wearing protective clothing, talking and looking at motor bike. SV man pouring petrol on tunnel. SV another man wearing cowboy hat pouring petrol on tunnel. SV rider in protective gear sitting on bike while his helmet is put on. CU rider’s face as helmet is strapped on. CU foot kick starting bike pan up to rider as he revs bike. SV pan man in cowboy hat setting fire to tunnel. GV pan tunnel blazing. SLV crowd watching. SLV pan as motor cyclist rides through tunnel, he enters and comes out, fireman with hose ready near end of tunnel. SV burnt out tunnel. GV cars departing home.
