MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Grape Harvest Festival. DESCRIPTION: Through the streets of the old Italian town of Velletri, the grape pickers celebrate in their traditional manner, another bumper harvest. SHOTLIST: GV parade in period costumes through streets. CU 2 girls in Roman dress. SV Roman chariot and guards parading. CU man-at-arms. SV line of girls dressed as Roman slaves tied together. SV Roman soldiers. SLV medieval ox cart tilt up to church bell tower. GV vineyard. SCU bunch of grapes. SCU pan ditto. SV grape pickers in vineyard. CU woman harvesting grapes. CU bunch of grapes cut down & placed in basket. CU man in period dress cutting bunch of grapes. SCU as grapes are placed in basket. SV another couple in period dress picking grapes. CU grapes into basket. SV full baskets carried from vineyard. GV pan mass of people in various period costumes lined up. CU girl pan to fiance. SV grapes being carried out by couples who picked them, in period dress. SV grapes put down before girl and fiancé. SCU pan as boyfriend picks grape from basket & offers it to girl. CU as he puts it in her mouth and they kiss. SCU harvesters applauding. SV man gives girl another grape & kisses her.
