- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Le Mans Race. DESCRIPTION: The annual 24 hours race won by Graham Hill, who surely deserved the win, after his bad smash in the States. The man who advocated safer tracks throughout the world, Jo Bonnier, was himself ironically killed on this circuit. SHOTLIST: GAV mass of parked cars at Le Mans. CU pan two very large racing tyres. GV cars lined up for start. SV President Pompidou starts race. GV cars racing down straight. LV racing cars round bend. 2 SVs car 15 followed closely by Nos 14 & 19. SV Pompidou watching. GV cars racing down straight at night. CU pan No 19 with lights on. GAV Nos 14 & 15 just behind. GAV wrecked car on side of road. SCU Nos 15, 14 & 19 round bend. SV pan car into pits with flat rear tyre. SV mechanics changing wheel. SV car drives out of pits. SCU No 15 in lead. LV pan No 15 wins race followed by No 14. SCU pan No 15 coming to stop in deluge of rain. SV press & others surrounding car.
