Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Czechoslovakia Speedway Spectacular. DESCRIPTION: Champion drivers meet in appalling conditions for a Speedway Spectacular. SHOTLIST: GV pan massed crowds with umbrellas. SCU rain falling on track. SV riders, officials, spectators stand waiting - bikes on trailers. CU rider adjusts helmet. SV riders lined up for start, pan as Nos 9, 10, 11 start away. SLV pan 2 riders racing round track. SV towards 3 riders racing round bend. SV pan rider round track. SCU pan another rider. SLV towards rider round bend. TV riders lined up for start of another race pan as Nos 16, 3, 10 and 5 start away and into bend. LV pan 2 riders battling round bend. GTV stadium, riders racing. LV two riders one comes off on bend and slides along ground. SV pan spectators rush forward to barrier to see crash. LTV 4 riders lined up for start of another race, starting gate goes up but rider on left gets caught in gates and skids into others, rider on right gets away. SCU winner, Gluecklich from Bydgossoz sitting bent over bike, pan up as he straightens up smiling.
