MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Thrills in Barefoot Skiing. DESCRIPTION: More down than under, at Manly NSW - the National Barefoot Skiing Championships were held. Competitors showed amazing feats with their feet(s). Towed at 40 mph, they bounce along the surface on their stomachs and backs, just like pebbles bouncing across the water. SHOTLIST: SV pan competitor barefoot skiing towards jump ramp and over. LV crowds watching. SV slow motion over jump ramp. SV man and girl watching. SV man barefoot skiing over ramps he lands and falls over. LV pan man barefoot skiing he falls and crashes into water. SV pan another man skiing over ramp - he crashes into water. LV pan Rudy Stout doing tricks, he does a tumble turn whilst being hauled along at 40 mph. GV pan Garry Barton doing a tumble turn, he stands up and holds towing bar in his mouth. SV people watching. GV Barton trick bare foot skiing. SV pan kite man, Bill Moyes coming in to land on water, he lands.
