Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hares for Export. DESCRIPTION: Hares in Poland are caught in nets spread in fields, and sent to France and Italy for breeding. Apparently the Polish hares have that certain polish about them. One cameraman got caught in the nets, too keen I suppose. SHOTLIST: LS hare running round field. MS men fixing netting round field. GV beaters walking across field. LS 2 beaters. MLS hare running round field trying to escape. Ditto man chasing it. LS hare runs into netting comes back out & runs into another part of fence, man runs up & catches it. MCU man holding hare by hind legs as he walks over and puts it in box. LS pan hare running round past beaters. MLS hare being chased by two men. MS pan hare runs into fence, man runs over and catches it. MCU hare being carried along by back legs. CU hare. MCU hare put in to cage. CU another hare. MS man holding hare while another strokes it. MCU hare put in to box. lS hare running across field. MLS he runs into fence but breaks through and escapes. LS pan hare chased into fence but he also escapes. MS cameraman runs across field, trips and falls into netting. MCU cameraman in net. MS pan hare running.
