Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motorway Lights. DESCRIPTION: A simulated accident, provided by the Leicestershire & Rutland police to demonstrate their latest portable lighting equipment. SHOTLIST: MS 2 policemen setting out hazard cones in road. MS towards ambulance drivers along road and onto grass verge round cones. Police Land Rover parks sideways across road. MCU tilt up policeman lifts spot light out of box. CU light. MS policeman runs round side of Land Rover and opens back door. MS 2 policeman lift generator out of Land Rover. CU spot light being lifted out. MCU spot light being fitted onto telescopic pole on side of Land Rover. MS pan down one policeman adjusting light while 2nd policeman adjusts generator. MCU generator. MCU policeman pumping up telescopic pole. MS ditto 2nd policeman adjusts light with ropes. Pan up to light on top of pole. MCU policemen adjusting light. CU generator being switched on. CU generator being started. MLS light comes on. LS light pan down to Land Rover. MS light being directed with ropes. LS policeman runs to car. MS 2 policemen open front and back doors and get in, angle shot spotlight on pole. MS policeman closes car door and walks round bonnet.
