Part of a four and a half million pound scheme to find out the possibilities of high speed travel and low maintenance costs. First public appearance. MCU radio control unit hanging round controller’s neck, pan up to controller’s head & headphones. CU control unit. LS hovertrain on track. MS train running along track pull back as it comes towards camera, pan round at 137’ to BV zoom in at 163’. MS towards and pan hovertrain going past. CU No RTV 31 tilt down to track and contact as train goes past, angle up to BV of train. BV train going along rail.
