Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Stunt Driving. DESCRIPTION: Stunt car drivers in France, where one gets himself into a ‘hot’ spot. SHOTLIST: MS car running up ramp, jumps over 10 cars then nose dives to ground, topples over and lands. MS another car over 4 cars but collides with top one and topples. MS slow motion car over 4 cars, hits car and topples. MS slow motion car up ramp, over 10 cars, lands upright. MS crowds. MS driver waving I’ve done it. MS hosing the runway with petrol. CU slow motion - lighting petrol on grass, he runs away. LS flames spreading across grass. CU Mercedes car diving into flames, pan car enveloped in flames. MS slow motion - firemen in asbestos suit going into flame. MS other end of flames car drives out alright. CU crowd. Man points. CU driver - running away from hot smoking car and falls on ground unharmed.
