Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Medieval Stuntmen. DESCRIPTION: At Carcassonne, in France Les Chevaliers (meaning The Knights) demonstrate their skill as Stunt Men. SHOTLIST: GV medieval knights galloping on horses towards camera. SV 3 horses & men mounted gallop past camera. MS horse & rider galloping through archway pass camera. LS riders coming out of drawbridge. LS side view ditto. CU knight on foot swinging sword in hand. GV 2 knights on foot fighting with swords. CU low angle knight swinging sword (on foot). GV knights in black knock other knights down. CU man in modern clothes talking to knight. SV same man with axe in hand instructing knight on use of axe. CU bald headed knight swings axe forward. GV bald headed knight with axe - knight ducking. CU knight putting arm around bald knight’s neck. GV knights fighting hand to hand - bald knight on ground. GV 2 corpses hanging from gate of archway. CU corpse hanging by neck - face starts laughing at joke. MS Asian knights galloping through flames past camera - cut away crowd applauding. GV Asian rider jumping onto horse in motion. MS Asian rider throws woman off horse onto camp site. MS woman drinking form goatskin bottle, starts fight with other woman. MS several groups of women fighting with group in f/g. MS horse galloping with women being dragged & whipped. Cut away to crowd. MS knight in armour jousting falls off. LS pan rider chase galloping across screen, knocks off other rider. LS pan rider past camera knocks on back falls off - slow motion. LS another set of competitors - rider (slow motion) near camera falls off.
