MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Off Road Racing. DESCRIPTION: ‘Mud Plugging’ the craziest motor sport around has caught on in South Africa - and they’ve got just the conditions for it. SHOTLIST: LV as Volkswagen speeds through giant tunnel. CU front of ditto as water sprays up. LV another Volkswagen ditto. Head on shot - buggy over hump towards common. SV broken down buggy as others race past. GV as buggies come round bend through puddle. SV pan buggies round bend. GV as cars wait behind each other to go through puddle. SV pan as car sliding round bend, crashes into boulder at 208’ - he’s away again. LV car through deep puddle at 214’ - he stops & steam rises - pan as others approach.
