- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Surf Carnival. DESCRIPTION: Further conflict over racial issues at the third surf lifesaving contest between Australia and South Africa at Sydney’s Coogee Beach. Police are called in to deal with the group of protestors who disrupt the Carnival. SHOTLIST: SV flag zoom out to show South African life guards marching along beach. SV pan anti apartheid demonstrators. CU demonstrator speaking into microphone zoom out to show mass of demonstrators behind him. LV lifeguards procession march towards camera. SV demonstrators behind wire fence. Police rush in to remove demonstrators who had thrown themselves in the path of South African life guards. SV pan police carrying demonstrator.
