Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Shoe Fashions. DESCRIPTION: Summer may seem a long way off, but shoe designers are already looking towards the misty days of Autumn. For women, its back to the forties with higher heels complimented by delicate ankle straps. For the male, wet look boots with the emphasis on laces and buckles. SHOTLIST: GV wide angle traffic coming towards and past. CU vinyl shoe with suede tab & flared heel, on car bonnet, pan down to reptile grain vinyl shoe with wedge heel (shoes for children). CU on car bonnet wet look shoe with 4 button up cross bars, Granny look. SCU 3 kids shoes L to R fleurette (mock lizard), Suzette (patent), Terry (patent). CU Terry with 3 buckle cross bars pull out of focus (all these kid’s shoes). CU reflection of woman’s legs in side of car, zoom out to SV of her as she starts to open car door. CU of her shoes No 1 with 3 heel, platform soles peep toe (forties look) at 46’ she gets into car. CU of her through windscreen, zoom back & pan down to shoe on bumper. CU shoe on bumper No 2 ‘Chukka’. SCU moving taxi pan legs of girl wearing No 3 with wedge heel. CU traffic lights. CU shoes No 3 - walk out of picture. SCU pan through railings, man walking in No 5 wet look boots he stops by car wheel. CU boots No 5. LV man walking dogs pan away pull focus to CU No 6 men’s slip on with tassel on fence. LAS tree branches, pull focus. CU grass, pull focus to lace holes on boot. SCU boot No 11 wet look lace up with toe cap. CU brogue lace up shoe No 4. SCU people’s legs as they walk.
