Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pole Jumping. DESCRIPTION: There are easier ways of crossing a river, but the Dutch vault across on poles. It’s a popular sport in this part of the world, but the failure percentage is high. SHOTLIST: SCU pole into water pan up to man adjusting pole. LV man runs & jumps to pole. LV man runs & jumps to pole. SV pan as man on pole vaults to other side of river. BV man runs & jumps onto pole but falls short into river. SV pan man makes successful jump to other side. Head on shot towards ditto. 3 SVs crowd applaud. Man on pole in mid air. Ditto falls into water. SV pan man runs & jumps onto pole. SV crowd applaud. LV man falls into river.
