Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chinese Martial Rights. DESCRIPTION: A demonstration of the arts of Wu-Shu - ancient Chinese method of combat and self defence. There are over 2,000 members of the British Wu-Shu Association - many of them youngsters who’d astonish people twice their size if they were ever attacked. SHOTLIST: SV young girls tumbling over. 2 CUs instructor, badge, SV young girls practising Wu-Shu. CU ditto, girl brough down, SV 3 girls watch pan down to feet. CU Jeanie Cowles practises Hai Sut with umbrella, girl holding umbrella. 2 SVs girl attacked by man - she knocks him down twice, boys watching. LV young boy attacked by man - Stephen Gary throws man. CU Jeanie Cowles zoom back to throwing 2 men. 2 SVs zoom back 3 men attack her and defeated, Jeanie kneeling on floor - attacked by 4 men, all thrown. CU Chee Soo attacked by four men - all thrown.
