Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Student Riots. DESCRIPTION: Students at the Liberal University in Brussels, stage a demonstration against the Greek Military regime. Police with batons and riot shields are driven back by barrages of stones and petrol bombs hurled by the students. SHOTLIST: 4 GV shots students march through street. SV riot police with shields await. SV police chiefs, SV students pile of ammunition (stones). GV students hurl stones, pan across road to police, students hurl stones. SV police standing still, guarding students pile of ammo. 3 LV shots ditto pan to students, students, pan as petrol bombs are hurled at police, exploded bomb pan to students, SV students fill buckets with stones from pile. 7 LV shots, pan police charge then retreat from stones. Students hurl stones, pan police charge (one falling over) & retreat, petrol bomb explodes among police, students hurl stones, police cowering pan students throw stones. GV pan students run away along street.
