Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Water Carnival. DESCRIPTION: It’s best to wear protective clothing to visit Solesmes on water carnival day. Anyone venturing on the streets, including unsuspecting tourists, is likely to get soaked to the skin. SHOTLIST: GV Carnival procession along street. LAV people wearing masks & holding water squirters. CUs people wearing masks. MCU water coming from squirter. GV pan 2 shots men squirting water in street. SV pan man is ambushed by squirters as he leaves building. SV squirters attacking taxi. SV 2 shots squirters attack black car. Pan squirters attack white car. MCU pan zoom out woman gets out of white car and is squirted. MLV woman being squirted. MCU woman protests. Woman gets into car. MCU the men squirting water. GV pan man being squirted in street. SV film cameraman deluged with water. SV water battle between squirter & men in open truck (buckets of water). MLV pan ditto. GV pan water battle along street including police. LV pan - men with buckets take refuge in cafe.
