- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Qpr V Derby (Football). DESCRIPTION: Queens Park Rangers go through into the 6th round with their one-nil victory over Derby. It was unfortunate that QPR’s one goal should have been at the expense of Mackay who deflected the ball into his own goal, for Rangers deserved to win. SHOTLIST: GV Rangers attacking, ball pushed out to right wing. LOW AS Rangers player shoots, goalie saves, doesn’t hold ball, it runs free to Derby defender. GV Derby clear. CU mid-field play, Derby in possession, Ranger player kicks up field. LOW AS as ball moves towards Derby goal, beats goalie but hits cross bar, bounces back into play, two players fight for ball. CU 2 players fighting for ball, Rangers come away with it. LOW AS player coming down right wing for Rangers, ball is crossed. GV ball comes across, headed on by Rangers forward. Marsh runs in and hits it into net goal in red (but disallowed). CU cheering crowd. GV crowd at half time. LOW AS second half, Derby attacking, in front of goal ball bobs around going from player to player, eventually headed toward goal, goalie dives and saves. GV goalie gets up players run back up field. LOW AS goalie kicks up field. SV mid-field player, Rangers attacking, ball pushed up field. GV player runs onto the pass & pushes it towards goal, ball deflected by Dave Mackay & runs into net. Zoom in to players jumping about Dave Mackay picking ball out of net. LOW AS players with their arms in air congratulating each other. GV players walking off, people running on field. GV zoom in ditto.
