MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Biafra. DESCRIPTION: General Ojukwu flees to Zambia and his successor capitulates to the Federal Forces. In Britain, relief measures meet more frustration, while in Biafra itself millions still face imminent death from starvation. SHOTLIST: 2 shots General Ojukwu. GV federal troops. Various shots of cannons, guns, tanks etc. 2 shots from moving vehicle. 2 MS pan troops pass on a lorry, & mortar being fired. 2 GVs explosion on building & pan debris. 3 shots of starving women and children. MS Red Cross parcels. Series of shots of ditto being sorted and loaded onto aeroplanes. 2 MS parcels marked NIGERIA and Red Cross lorry. GV food being unloaded from lorry. MS starving children eating. CU ditto. MCU starving child is offered a baby’s bottle.
