MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sportabout. DESCRIPTION: Sportsman of the Year, according to Daily Express readers, is British Open Champion Golfer, Tony Jacklin, while Ann Jones, this year’s Wimbledon champion takes the Sportswoman of the Year Award. The Prime Minister presented their trophies at a dinner in the Savoy Hotel. Next day, Tony Jacklin tried to drive a golf ball across the Thames from the hotel roof - but didn’t quite make it.
