Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMas Brisbane. DESCRIPTION: In scenes so reminiscent on nearly three decades ago, the Australian warship Brisbane returns to Sydney after seven months active service with the American seventh fleet in Vietnam. She fired eight thousand rounds at over six hundred targets. The last time the cannons of The Association were fired was over 260 years ago. Trafalgar Day is chosen for the first 20th Century firing of one of the cannons, recovered from the sea off the Scilly Isles, and recently auctioned for £3,000. SHOTLIST: GV HMAS Brisbane.
