MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News in Colour Munich Beer Festival. DESCRIPTION: For sixteen days in early autumn, the beer barrels of Bavaria burst upon a thirsty world. Munich’s fantastic Octoberfest is generally recognised as the greatest Folk Festival in the world - and also one of the biggest booze-ups! But Bavarian Beer festivals aren’t such a novelty as they used to be, since a chain of Beer Kellers, serving German beer, began their amazingly successful invasion of the British leisure scene.
