Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: So Near and Yet. DESCRIPTION: In spite of Mark Cox’s defeat - which allowed Romania to steal the victory at Wimbledon, we’ll long remember Graham Stillwell’s tremendous Davis Cup performance, climaxed by his great win over Ion Tiriac. SHOTLIST: TS Graham Stillwell and Ion Tiriac walk onto court for the Davis Cup mens singles. MCU Graham Stillwell ditto. MCU Tiriac and Stillwell prepare for game. GV crowd. LS Stillwell serves, Tiriac returns etc. GV crowd. MS Stillwell serves. MS Tiriac volleys, pan runs to other side of court, volleys return ball. TS crowd. LS game in progress.
