Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Age of Flight. DESCRIPTION: Youth and age in the air - Christopher Miller of Gerrard’s Cross, Bucks, is all ready to go solo - but he’ll have to wait four years to do it - he’s only thirteen! By contrast, Mrs Hilda Alexander of Blenheim, New Zealand, is a seventy-year-old grand-mother. She gets her thrills by standing on the wing of an aeroplane in flight in a daredevil stunt she’s wanted to perform for thirty years.
