Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ulster on the Brink. DESCRIPTION: They march through Maghera and Dungiven - for more than seventy miles from Belfast to Londonderry, suffering stones and petrol bombs as well as blisters. The Civil Rights Demonstration - and the opposition it aroused from militant Protestants - has brought Ulster to the edge of a major national crisis. More than a hundred and sixty were injured during four days of violence, a revival of bitter, blood-thirsty animosity between Protestants and Catholics that threatens to destroy years of patient work to unite them.
