MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The King Is Dead. DESCRIPTION: The brutal assassination of Dr Martin Luther King is a tragic blow to the Negro’s Non-violence campaign for equality. Movietone pays tribute to the inspiration of the American Gandhi and recalls the summers of race rioting which he so steadfastly sought to quell, and which could flare up once again with even more bitterness.
