MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Record Space Walk. DESCRIPTION: Edward Aldrin and Jim Lovell make history in the last flight of America’s Gemini Programme. Aldrin remains outside the capsule for longer than any previous astronaut and proves that it’s possible for man to work efficiently in space without undue fatigue. The first Colour pictures to be released give a vivid impression of the achievement. SHOTLIST: MS astronauts - Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin and Jim Lovell arrive at Gemini site. Astronauts walk to lift. Pan up of lift. Gemini launching pad. Astronauts getting into capsule. Cameramen await launch. Zoom in Gemini launching pad as the rocket blasts off.
