- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tilt Wing Breakthrough. DESCRIPTION: A new Canadian Plane, using the Tilt-Wing principle can operate like a rescue helicopter and fly like a conventional plane at 400 mph. SHOTLIST: CU a dummy sitting on ground waiting to be ‘snatched’ up by the plane. LAS a plane passes overhead. MS from inside the plane. MS the plane catches a line attached to a balloon. MS attached to the other end of the line is a dummy which is lifted into air. LS the Canadian Tilt-Wing plane. Zoom in ditto. MS ditto. Pan to man as he drops to the ground. LS the Tilt-Wing plane hovering. GV man on the ground pan to Tilt-Wing plane hovering overhead. Slip pan. GV P1127 on a clearing in a forest. MS P1127 taking off. MS of the clearway as the plane rises. LAS P1127 flies overhead. Slip pan. MLS man gets lifted up out of the water by the Tilt-Wing plane. LS ditto. MS cameramen. LAS man being lifted by the Tilt-Wing plane. MS cameramen. MS Tilt-Wing plane flies past.
