Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fine Feathers Make Fine Bird-Scarers. DESCRIPTION: A device for scaring off birds from the crops has been developed at an experimental vineyard in Sussex. A dummy hawk, made out of Turkey and Chicken feathers is suspended from a balloon filled with Hydrogen. As the hawk swoops and dives below the balloon the birds are afraid to come near.
