Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: And They Call It the Gentle Sex. DESCRIPTION: Team work is the motto of these girl roller skaters at the Sydney Stadium where they try to get their team first over the line. But ladylike manners are soon forgotten as the Outlaws block the path of the Thunderbirds team who come home for a flying finish. SHOTLIST: MS model in evening gown. MCU another ditto. MS others ditto. MS both skating teams fighting. MS ditto. Pan girl skates off round the rink. MS pan girl’s skating round the rink. LS ditto. Pan two of skaters fight one of the other team. MS above push other team girl from rink. Pan a white team girl hits two of other team. Pan a black team girl falls. Pan captain pushes the above from rink. Pan Shirley Hardman pushes an opposing team member’s head into the wooden fence round the rink. MS girl’s fighting. Pan ditto. TS white team (Outlaws) blocks the finish line by pulling over black team (Thunderbirds). An Outlaws team member jumps over the fighting to land over finish line.
