Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Channel Swim Prelude. DESCRIPTION: American long distance swimmer Mary Revell swims seven miles across Sydney Harbour - before an attempt on the English Channel. Also in Australia, this time in the south, a Dune Buggy Club meeting was held. The enthusiasts have built their buggies from old motor parts and various other odds and ends. They race them over soft sand. Now over to one of the most progressive holiday resorts in Australia - Surfers’ Paradise in Queensland.
