MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Winners on Wheels - Monte Carlo Rally 1965. DESCRIPTION: In the 3,000 mile Monte Carlo Rally, hard-packed snow and ice reduced the field from 235 to 35 cars. But there were 8 British cars in the first 20 and it was a BMC Mini that took the prize. SHOTLIST: Pan of car in rally. Pan car 149 passes camera. Cars pass at night. Cars No 215, 219, 216, 122, 145, 126 pass camera. Sunbeam Tiger passes camera. Pan Mini Cooper No 52. Mini Cooper comes into finish. No 49 Pat Moss in Saab. Close up Pat Moss. Winners get out of Mini Cooper. Medium shot of winner being congratulated. It was an Anglo/Finnish team who won. Close up of front of Mini Cooper S. Timo Makinen / Paul Easter in winning Mini.
