Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Various Propelled Cars. DESCRIPTION: With petrol costing around five shillings a gallon, Mr Harold Bates of Brixham in Devon has found a substitute. He has an apparatus in his workshop which produces methane gas from chicken manure. Mr Bates has converted an ex-army desert car into a sort of Rhode Island Roadster.
