Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Inauguration of the Longest Artificial Skiing Track at the Sarra Lyon. DESCRIPTION: Above the city of Lyons in France, a ski-lift takes you to the top of the largest artificial ski-run in the world. The surface of matting has an obvious advantage. Once it is laid it needs no further treatment at all. Also, they can still use it when it snows! SHOTLIST: Various shots of the most important artificial skiing track of Europe. Pictures of skiers: Therese Orbecht and Kaelin also Ruth Adofphe, and Fernande Bochatay. There are two experimenting skiers Grunedfelen and Dumeno Glovanelli. Official inauguration by Mr Lous Pradel the Mayor of Lyon. In the competition the result was:- 1st - Favre, 2nd - Grunedfelen, 3rd - Kaelin.
