MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motocross - Muddy Awful. DESCRIPTION: Motor cycle enthusiasts from nine countries started out on a muddy course just outside Paris. 120 starters, but only 24 were to finish. Winner was Germany’s Gustav Franks and Britain’s Sammy Miller manages to take second place. SHOTLIST: MS motor cyclist pulling away. MS pan cycle and rider. MCU pan - he comes through trees. MCU cyclist in trouble going through trees. MS rider falls off into mud. MS rider gets off bike and pushes same up hill. MCU stalls bike in mud. MLS rider hilling through thick mud. MLS rider crossing finishing line. Britain’s Sammy Miller (No 39) on 500 cc Ariel, makes 2nd place. Winner was Gustav Franks of Germany.
