MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Miss World 1964 - Colour. DESCRIPTION: A selection of the most beautiful girls in the world take the stage at Mecca Dancing’s Lyceum Ballroom in London. Forty countries were represented. The judges verdict - in third place 22 year old Linda Lin from Free China, second Anna Maria Soria - Miss Argentine. And finally Miss World - 20 year old Ann Sidney, Miss United Kingdom. SHOTLIST: GV contestants walk onto stage. LS judges. LS contestants in swimsuits all lined up at the front of the stage. MS same. Side shot same. LS judges. MS same. Tracking shot of contestants. MS Miss Liberia, Miss Lebanon, Miss Korea. MCU contestant. MCU another. MCU another. MS Miss Brazil, Miss Free China. MS contestants. GV girls all turn around and then back again. MS judges. Each girl walks towards camera in turn. LS judges. Miss New Zealand (Linda Cruickshank) walks down steps.
