Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mind Your Manors!. DESCRIPTION: Queen Boadicea set fire to Colchester, and they gave her a statue on Westminster Bridge. But the man who caused the recent blaze of publicity for this ancient town will be remembered only for his loss of manors. He is 80 year old John Beaumont who has just auctioned off some of the titles he inherited from his grandfather. In all, ten lordships of the manor were up for sale.
