MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: After the Earthquake. DESCRIPTION: The industrial seaport of Niigata, in North Western Japan, suffered a disastrous earthquake. It caused a river to run backwards and sent tidal waves pouring across the devastation. It was the worst since 1923, which almost destroyed Tokyo. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV wrecked roads. GV pan same.
