- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Racing Roundabout. DESCRIPTION: The European Championships for Outboards were held on a lake in East Germany, with Poland, Hungary, West Germany and East Germany represented. The winner was Schulz of East Germany. One of the biggest stud farms in West Germany invited the public for the stallion parade, and different performances showed the training of horse and rider. In Australia, our cameramen recorded a dramatic incident at Sydney’s Rosehill Course, twenty yards from the post, Persian Comic faltered, throwing his jockey Frank Powyer beneath the fence.
