Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Pedal Up Kids. DESCRIPTION: The line-up for the National Scoutcar Races at Brighton. These hot-rods are the product of the Boy Scout’s inventive genius - limited only by the £8 maximum they’re allowed to spend on these missiles. All told about a hundred vehicles took part in the afternoon’s racing. Speeds of up to 26 miles-an-hour have been recorded. Brighton’s Lady Mayoress presented skid-lids to the winners.
