MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Centenary of Steam. DESCRIPTION: Over 100 years ago it was one horsepower on the Festiniog Line - but in 1863 the horse was replaced by steam. (The line’s first locomotive). Almost half of the original track has now been restored. The line, originally built for the slate trade, runs through the magnificent scenery of the Snowdonia National Park.
