MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Steps to Supremacy. DESCRIPTION: The World Ballroom Championships in London. Competing couples from sixteen countries for the Professional ‘Modern’ title. Winners were Bill and Bobbie Irvine, already the reigning World Champions. The World Latin-American title was retained by Walter Laird and Lorraine Reynolds. Mr Marples presented the trophies.
