MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Badminton - Trials and Tribulations. DESCRIPTION: Badminton Horse Trials aren’t exactly noted for fine weather...this year was no exception. The usual three-day event had to be telescoped into one ‘dripper’ of a day. Conditions were bad enough for spectators...for competitors they were a sheer nightmare. The winning rider Miss Susan Fleet, who rode her own horse The Gladiator to a superb victory. Winners or losers, they all needed a good sponge-down. SHOTLIST: Key scene. LS building. GV spectators.
