- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Canadian Carnival. DESCRIPTION: The historic city of Quebec recently held it’s Winter carnival. The famous canoe race across the frozen St. Lawrence and back, a distance of some two miles. A carnival isn’t a carnival without floats and fancy-dress parades.
