MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Canadian Carnival. DESCRIPTION: The historic city of Quebec recently held it’s Winter carnival. The famous canoe race across the frozen St. Lawrence and back, a distance of some two miles. A carnival isn’t a carnival without floats and fancy-dress parades. More than 300,000 people lined the streets as the three weeks of festivity reached their climax. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV model covered in snow. People in horse-drawn sleighs (2 shots).
