MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Progress at Perth. DESCRIPTION: Here at Perth is Dorothy Hyman winning the 100 yards. Dorothy went on to complete fabulous gold double by winning the 220 as well. We collected 3 golds in the rowing events. In swimming we achieved our greatest triumphs. Anita Lonsbrough, Brian Phelps and Linda Ludgrove - piling up the golds - and incidentally the world records. Linda beat her greatest rival Australia’s Pam Sergeant in the 110 yards backstroke. She is a 15 year old Londoner. SHOTLIST: Key scene. Crowds (2 shots). GV final of women’s 100 yards.
