Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pennies Go for Thousands. DESCRIPTION: Falcon cycles at Smethwick have been doing very nicely, specialising in lightweight machines. In addition to home sales they export some 600 a month to the States. As a result of displaying a penny farthing on a stand at a Cycle Show they’ve received an order for 100 of them which is worth £10,000. The order came from an American company. The firm will make them on the same machine they use for modern bikes but assembly will be done by hand. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS man fixing bicycle, girl fixing spokes in wheel (2 shots).
