MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Stamps for Efficiency. DESCRIPTION: If you stamp your own letters, you should know it’s National Productivity Year. David Gentleman is the designer of three new stamps, commemorating the event. Stamp designing is an extremely skilled business, and the product has to stand pretty close scrutiny from collectors, if not from the general public. Our cameraman had a good look when he went along to the printers. And here are the new stamps in colour. Each one features the letter NPY, and all three are twice the size of the present stamps.
