Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ordeal By Flood. DESCRIPTION: Rubi in Spain was suddenly overwhelmed by a devastating torrent of water which vanished as suddenly as it had arrived. In Rubi alone some three hundred are dead or missing. In all five hundred square miles are affected. And the death toll is already nearly four hundred and it may finally total more than a thousand. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV pan flooded land. GV ditto. CU sign Rubi. MS flooded streets. (2 shots) flooded ground. (2 shots) ruined buildings. (3 shots) rubble and ruined buildings. (3 shots) people moving rubble and clearing up. MS men pull out body from mud. (2 shots) men cover up body and take it away.
