Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Earthquake Disaster. DESCRIPTION: This vivid film despatch gives some idea of the overwhelming devastation in a village 180 miles from Tehran, near the very centre of the earthquake. Scenes like these are repeated in hundreds of villages throughout the stricken area, covering more than 14,000 square miles. In all, more than 20,000 people are dead. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
